Learning from the 50 Worst Charities

leafI am big believer in learning from mistakes and learning from other people’s mistakes. There was an article recently posted about how which charities are the best and which ones are the worst. Learning negative things about a charity that you have always supported is not easy. It changes the way you donate and invest in nonprofit organizations. Learning that the charities that you make donations to only puts for a small amount per dollar to the actual cause can be aggravating.

This are things you need to focus on as a nonprofit, you need to make sure that first and foremost you are dedicated to your mission and the population you serve. Putting the money donated towards the mission which is what most of the donors expect their money to go towards. Do not make the mistake of misleading your donors. Hold your organization accountable for each $ goes.
